My baby is losing his hair, what should i do?

My baby boy is 3 months old and he's had cradle cap for about a month now. However, just this past week, his head has been scaley and when I brush it out I notice that his hair comes out along with the dead skin. It's only the top of his head so he looks like an old man with receding hair. Is this normal? I'm scared to brush his hair now because if I do he will be bald on top of his head. What should i do?

Most babies lose their hair at some point, very rarely do they keep the hair they were born with. Keep brushing his hair and get the scales off, it's the best thing for it. My son's cradle cap/eczema was sooooo bad we had to take him to a dermatologist. The good thing is that he'll eventually grow out of it. Put baby oil on his head and cover it with a hat before bed. In the morning brush his hair or gently rub his head with a towel (as if you were drying his hair).

Babies tend to lose there hair from laying down all the time.

Its normal and it will grow back.

That is very common. My son was born with hair and then was bald for a while until his hair grew back.

It's normal.

My fiance's nephew was born with full head of gorgeous red hair.

And it's all gone now (he'll be two months on the 28th)

My baby was the same, when i shower him i would use his little brush to wash his hair, the scalyness went away %26amp; i shaved his head! He has little cute hair growing back!
