I don't want to go to a hairstylist or anything like that, I am a regular barber goer and want to stay that way.

I just want a professional to give me some hair advice. Shampoo types, conditioner (if necessary), hair brush, technique, style recommendations, etc.

But your barber, if s/he is decent, should also know the same information.
