i have used gel, and used damp hair. i tried rolling my hair, clipping it and blowdrying it, but my hair just turns out straight and dull. i have normally curly/wavy hair, i brushed out the curl, and used the curlers but nothing has worked. any tips for full curly hair using velcro curlers?

Velco rollers are not good for wet sets. You will need the plastic snap around rollers with the smooth barrel. They are perfect for damp/wet hair.
