A question about chemical hair straigtening...?

First of all, what do you think of it?? I have wavy hair and brush it every morning. Within a few hours, not only does it look like i have never brushed in my life, buy my hair begins to "flip" at the ends in different random spots. I often also wakeup with unruly "poofy" hair. Will chemical straightening help this? Also, where can I go to get it done; does Supercuts or another hair salon franchise provide it??

You need a chemical relaxer. I have wavy hair and a relaxer completely straightens it. It also smoothes away all frizz. But deep condition your hair a week after and once aweek after that because any chemical process is harsh on your hair and it will also lighten your hair color a shade.

Well I got my hair chemical straighten before. It lasts about 6 months and expensive. I have long hair so it took me about 8 hours. I don't know where they provide it because my cousin in Vietnam did it for me since she owned her own place.

A question about chemical hair straigtening...?

My hair was curly and puffy and frizzy..I had my hair perm/chemically straightened...Everyone was telling me that I was going to ruin my hair, but my hair is perfect and it's the same as it used to be...I love it...I don't have to iron it everyday..This is my second time doing it...Some Asian salon did it for me...But I think any professional salon can do that...Make sure they don't rip you off and make sure when they perm your hair they do it good..Other than that, I recommend you do it..

i have the same problem with my hair..............maybe if you could instant message me sometime, then i can give you some tips

Try using a hot, hot flat iron. Works wonders. Chemical straightening ruins your hair plus causes split ends really bad. Try not to do it. Love to hear your response.................

A question about chemical hair straigtening...?

I have the same exact problem you do, and I went to a small salon in my town and asked about it and they told me that it would damage my hair too much so I decided not to take the risk, but Im sure there are many places where they do this, I just thought I told you this before someone decided they just wanted to make some money off you and didn't tell you of the risk, but good luck! and if you find out it doesnt make too much damage or you find a different way to straighten your hair permanently then please let me know!!!!

A question about chemical hair straigtening...?

I got my hair straightened about 9 months ago, I have slightly wavy hair that flips opposite directions. I paid about $20 to have it done, and it was about 30 minutes (My hair is about shoulder length). I really like having it done because I don't have to straighten my hair every morning, just a little comb, gel, and go

chemical straighteners will work if that is what you want. It will be expensive depending on the length of your hair.....of course the longer it is the more expensive, because it takes more product, and more time. Best relaxer will be from a salon, I have never had a problem with Rusk, works well on Caucasian hair. Most who have just wavy hair, are happy having it straightened.

A question about chemical hair straigtening...?

I have been relaxing my hair for 6 years now, and I love it. But I am biracial, so our hair textures are probably different. However, Rusk has a gentle relaxer that I would be good to use on fine hair, it's called Anit-Curl. And you can use it on bleached hair too! :)

A question about chemical hair straigtening...?

chemical straigtening works for about 6 months, it's expensive but the cost will vary depending on the lenght of your hair but it will leave it straight for that time. if you can't afford it go to your hairdressers and they may have some suggestions for you.

best of luck
